Mizuno Wave Prophecy Ring Moc Mountain Research / Brown × Off-White
- Setsumasa Kobayashi founded General Research (& Mountain Research) in 1994 and has spent the decades since reshaping Japanese outdoor and fashion culture through Mountain Research. In 2007 he collaborated with Mizuno to produce the Infinity Moc - a shoe that transplanted performance running architecture into a traditional moccasin silhouette. The Wave Prophecy Ring Moc is the direct heir to that project, rebuilt from the ground up as a current expression of Mizuno Sports Style and positioned as the definitive final chapter of the series.
- The upper is a short-pile premium suede in brown with off-white contrast, constructed as a double layer with a Sky Medal-derived mesh inner - a structure borrowed from Mizuno's vintage running program. The midfoot ring strap, a signature detail from the original Infinity Moc, returns here with a side-mounted hook-and-loop closure for a smoother fit. Beneath all of it sits Mizuno's Wave Prophecy sole: a hollow-chambered construction that balances stability and cushioning without foam compression, engineered to hold its performance over years of wear.
