The Wave Prophecy 1 is where Mizuno's flagship Sportstyle line began. Originally released in June 2011, it was the first shoe to carry a full-length Infinity Wave: two parallel wave plates stacked with cushioning pillars between them, engineered to absorb and disperse impact across the whole footbed. Mizuno has brought the original back with updated materials while leaving the 2011 silhouette intact, including the exaggerated toe spring that gives the shoe its distinct rocker and forward roll.

This colorway runs warm gold and zinnia orange against strong blue, with the exposed wave structure doing the heavy lifting visually. AP+ and U4ic in the midsole keep the weight manageable for a shoe with this much architecture, and X10 carbon rubber handles wear at the heel. Unisex sizing.
